On Saturday we celebrated our upcoming 7 year wedding anniversary as a family by taking Abigail on her first trip to the zoo! I was worried it would be sweltering hot but lucikly a "cool front" came in Friday night so the high was only 93! (instead of 103) After a wonderful breakfast at Cracker Barrel we headed over to the Fort Worth Zoo, which happens to be ranked in the top five zoos in the country! We had such a lovely time and I think Abigail really enjoyed it too. Of course she couldn't really appreciate all the animals but she loved watching all the other kids and also enjoyed the fish, penguins, and birds. What a wonderful way to celebrate the anniversary of the beginning of our family.
